The following individuals comprise Cohencidence Productions, LLC. We are all young experts in our respective crafts and continually challenge each other to become better.

 

 

 

Joshua A. Cohen (Writer/Producer/Executive Producer) is a young professional who balances work, filmmaking and a social life. Mr. Cohen is the chief creative force in the company and is ultimately responsible for its success. In the last decade, Mr. Cohen has written dozens of scripts, including features, shorts and serials. He has produced one feature film and 15 shorts, as well as optioned 2 features. He also spent 2 years studying the craft of acting in order to improve his writing and actor direction. He is considered the premier producer in Las Vegas, and people are eager to line up behind him.

 

 

 

Nicholle Sanchez (Producer/2nd Assistant Director) Nicholle has been in business management, marketing and entrepreneurial endeavors since the age of 16. She recently served as Asst. Producer to Mr. Cohen on Red Herring and produced 2 short films solo this winter.

 

 

 

Ousa Khun (Director/Editor) Ousa has been directing, editing, scoring and creating live action and digital animation content for short films, corporate videos and music videos for more than a decade. He recently directed two ultra-low budget films. With a budget of $10,000 each, he made them look like a million bucks. After an extensive director selection process for Red Herring (65 applicants) Ousa proved that he was the right man to helm this project. He brought outstanding direction, style and life to the film, and is now editing it.

 

 

Brandon Christensen (Director/Editor) Brandon has been directing and editing short films, commercials, and music videos for several years. He recently relocated from Canada to Las Vegas to work for the prestigious DAV Productions. He has the best talent for directing actors and producing quality film that we have come across in years. He was also the runner-up to direct Red Herring, and is now working with us on multiple projects.

 

 

Richard Baldomero (Director/Editor/Animator/Producer) Richard has been in the media business for over 10 years. After working for his high school AV team, he directed the Student Television Network at the University of Hartford, then worked as a professional videographer, editor and director for such giants as MGM Grand, Card Player, and Full Tilt Poker Academy. His personal projects have included a Las Vegas-based reality series and several well-received shorts, including the self-funded zombie short, “No More Help.” His latest creation is LiveComix!, a new form of bringing comic books to life on screen. Richard has won multiple awards for his behind-the-camera work, and he continues to work on his craft in movie making, striving to gain recognition as one of the best in the business.

 

 

 

Brian Baldomero (Director/Animator/Camera Assistant) A graduate of the UNLV Film School, Brian has already established himself in the film production community. He has written and directed several shorts, and served as Camera Assistant, Director of Photography, Assistant Director and Script Supervisor on others. He was also Richard's collaborator on "No More Help" and the LiveComix! concept.

 

 

 

Kunitaro Ohi (Cinematographer) Kuni has worked behind the camera on dozens of features, shorts and commercials, and in every capacity. For Red Herring, he was selected from 35 prospects for his eye for light, content, texture, feel and experience with the Red One. He is a true artist.

 

 


Karissa Barcelo (Script & Continuity Supervisor)
Karissa just graduated from the film school at UNLV. She performed admirably as Script & Continuity Supervisor for Red Herring and several shorts. Since films are typically shot out-of-order, Karissa is responsible for making sure all dialogue, wardrobe, props, time, and story elements jive together in logical, chronological order.
 
 


Diana Eden (Costume Design) is a multi-award-winning designer with 25 years experience in Hollywood and three Emmy nominations. She has designed costumes for 14 prime time series, 16 pilots, and innumerable features and short films. Diana and her assistants (Marisa Miranda & Ariel Kutzin) direct all aspects of costumes and wardrobe, including design and continuity.
 
 

 

Julie Goldman (Casting Director & Extras Coordinator) Goldman & Associates has been casting projects large and small since 1979. Some of their larger projects include “Ocean’s 13” and the “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” TV series. 

 

 


Zack Shisslak (Production Designer)
Zack has been in the film industry since the age of 10. After achieving a degree in Film & Video Production from Occidental College, he served in every function in art and props departments on films with budgets from $1,000 to more than $30,000,000. For Red Herring, he served as Production Designer, Set Decorator, Art Director & Prop Master.
 

 

Calliopie (Lead Artist, Asst. Costume Designer) Heather Hermann attended the Las Vegas Academy and graduated with a diploma in AP Visual Arts and Photography. She has received numerous awards throughout her short career and considered one of the best designers in the industry. For Red Herring, she created the killer's mask and assisted Diana with her costume & wardrobe duties. Heather is currently working as the lead artists on the Baldomero Brother's "Dear Mom" concept animation. She is also an actor and dancer, dancing professionally for nine years. 
 

 


Michael Damon (Composer)
Michael is an accomplished indie composer with many feature films under his belt.
 

 

 

Jace Whitten (Asst. Producer) Jace has been part of the Indie film scene for the last 5 years, spending the last 2 with Cohencidence in a variety of capacities. He recently directed his second short film. His professional abilities, knowledge and initiative Will be a key asset in upcoming productions.
