The following individuals comprise Cohencidence Productions, LLC. We are all young experts in our respective crafts and continually challenge each other to become better.
Joshua A. Cohen (Producer / Screenwriter / Exec. Producer / Line Producer/ UPM / PC...) is a young professional who dedicates his life to filmmaking. Mr. Cohen is the chief creative and business force in the company and is ultimately responsible for its success. In the last decade, Mr. Cohen has written dozens of scripts, including features, shorts and serials. He has produced one feature film, a sketch comedy TV pilot, and more than 20 shorts and corporate videos. He has also optioned several projects to other production companies.
He recently volunteered as the co-chair of the Nevada Film Incentive Task Force, a grass-roots organization dedicated to bringing film incentives to Nevada. He is considered the premier producer in Las Vegas, and people are eager to line up behind him to make this a movie town.
Jay Cline (Camera Operator / Steadicam Operator / Aerial Photography) Jay is the Founder and President of DFI Media, one of Cohencidence’s partner companies. Jay has served in every position in the camera department, and he is capable of filling in for other departments that are short-handed, include sound and VFX. Jay also owns and operates two custom aerial photography rigs, allowing us to get shots that would otherwise prove impossible.
Kunitaro Ohi (Cinematographer) Kuni has worked behind the camera on dozens of features, shorts and commercials, and in every capacity. For Red Herring, he was selected from 35 prospects for his eye for light, content, texture, feel and experience with the Red One. He is a true artist.

Brandon
has been directing and editing short films,
Neil Curschman (Location Sound Mixer, Sound Design, Post Production Audio Supervisor, Post Sound Mixer, ADR Recordist, Foley) With 7 years of production experience, and a Bachelor of Science in Audio Production, Neil heads our audio department from location sound mixing to the final post mix. Neil's experience includes reality TV, documentaries, commercials, infomercials, features, shorts, and corporate promos for clients such as ESPN, ABC Family, The E! Network, PBS, HBO, The Golf Channel, The History Channel, TLC, TruTV, Motorola, Grand Sierra Resort, Walker Furniture, and of course, our very own. Zack Shisslak (Production Designer) Zack has been in the film industry since the age of 10. After achieving a degree in Film & Video Production from Occidental College, he served in every function in art and props departments on films with budgets from $1,000 to more than $30,000,000. For Red Herring, he served as Production Designer, Set Decorator, Art Director & Prop Master.
Julie Goldman (Casting Director & Extras
Coordinator)
Goldman & Associates has been casting projects large and
small since 1979. Some of their larger projects include “Ocean’s 13”
and the “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” TV series.
Calliopie (Lead Artist, Asst.
Costume Designer)
Heather Hermann attended the
Las Vegas Academy and graduated with a diploma in AP Visual Arts and
Photography. She has received numerous awards throughout her short
career and considered one of the best designers in the industry. For
Red Herring,
she created the killer's mask and assisted Diana with her costume &
wardrobe duties. Heather is currently working as the lead artists on
the Baldomero Brother's "Dear Mom" concept animation. She is also an
actor and dancer, dancing professionally for nine years.
Michael Damon (Composer)
Michael is an accomplished indie composer with
many feature films under his belt.
